Applications

Natural Ventilation

Many people work better in daylight htan in synthetic light. Others react to the recycled air, produced by conditioning, with exhaustion, aggression or sick building syndrome. This can all be avoided by the natural conditioning of glastec louver facades. The slats can be entirely opened. The adjustment of the opening angle is infinitely variable. It provides a broad spectrum of variety. For example, large surface areas that open in unison and small, individual elements are equally possible for both façades and roofs.

Sun Protection

The slats can be tilted according to the height of the sun, thereby creating effective sun protection. In place of harsh light with hard contrasts, a gentle modulated brightness is produced. A double skin sunshading and climate facade improves the energy balance of a building.

Climate Facade

A double skin climate facade activates the untapped energy reserves of the building. It can significantly reduce the amount of energy required for air conditioning or even make it dispensable. The outer layer of the double skinned glass façade also serves as a high effective weather and sun protector. The remaining inner heat load is conveyed to storage areas, which absorb heat during the day and release it at night. Opening and closing the louvers produces the air current required for this.

Light Tracking
